Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
In the previous bulletin, we saw the relativism in Catholic music, where people believe that, if the songs are about God, there is no problem including them in their spiritual life or in the liturgy. Relativism is also present in all areas where the human being unfolds: the family, work, sports, justice, morality, ethics, mass media etc.
Now we will see the degrees of knowledge according to Aristotle and St. Thomás Aquinas. I will make a synthesis of this since there is a lot of information and we would never end. In the 5 categories that Aristotle mentions and in the propositions of St. Thomas Aquinas, we will reduce them in three:
First, we have sensitive knowledge, it is the first source of knowledge: taste, hearing, smell, touch and sight. Secondly, we have knowledge of universals or abstract knowledge. It is the knowledge which reason, through a word makes reference to several things, animals, or people. For example: Americans, amphibians, vertebrate, felines, poems, dramas, deli meats, etc. And we have supra-sensible or ontological knowledge. It is knowledge which leads us to the rational knowledge of God, the Trinity, of the presence of God in the Eucharist, etc.
Unfortunately, most people only get to the second level of knowledge, without knowing the Lord and all the greatness of our faith, the treasure of the Eucharist, the second coming of Christ, the mystery of death and resurrection, etc. If people had these three levels of knowledge, along with a spiritual life, they would not be fooled by false ones proposed that cause damage to humanity which we see daily in news: drugs, violence, kidnappings and suicides etc.

Relativismo Parte 3
Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,
En el boletín anterior vimos el relativismo en la música católica, donde las personas creen que, si las canciones hablan de Dios, no hay ningún problema incluirlas en la vida espiritual o en la liturgia. También el relativismo se hace presente en todos los ámbitos en donde se desenvuelve el ser humano: la familia, el trabajo, el deporte, la justicia, la moral, la ética, los medios masivos de comunicación etc.
Ahora veremos los grados de conocimiento según Aristóteles y Santo Tomás de Aquino. Haré una síntesis, pues es mucha la información ya que no terminaríamos nunca de explicar. De las 5 categorías que Aristóteles menciona y en los presupuestos de Santo Tomás de Aquino, los reduciremos en tres:
En primer lugar, tenemos el conocimiento sensible, es la primera fuente de conocimiento, el gusto, el oído, el olfato, el tacto, y la vista. En segundo lugar, tenemos el conocimiento de los universales o conocimiento abstracto. Es el conocimiento donde la razón, a través de una palabra hace referencia a varias cosas, animales o personas. Ejemplo: Los americanos, los anfibios, los vertebrados, los felinos, las poesías, los dramas, los embutidos, etc. Y tenemos el conocimiento supra-sensible u ontológico. Es el conocimiento donde nos lleva al conocimiento racional de Dios, de la Trinidad, de la presencia de Dios en la Eucaristía, etc.
Desafortunadamente la mayoría de las personas sólo llegan al segundo nivel, desconociendo al Señor y toda la grandeza de nuestra fe, el tesoro de la Eucaristía, la segunda venida de Cristo, el misterio de la muerte y resurrección, etc. Si las personas tuvieran estos tres niveles de conocimiento, junto con una vida espiritual, no se dejaría engañar por las falsas propuestas que lo único que causan es dañar al ser humano como todos los días vemos en los noticieros: drogas, violencia, secuestros, suicidios etc.
